Early pregnancy ultrasound
An ultrasound is a painless diagnostic test that relies on sound waves, and most women will have at least one during pregnancy. Your first ultrasound will typically be done between 18 and 20 weeks, but you may have one before 12 weeks to confirm your due date.
Anomaly scan (TIFFA)
An anomaly scan is done to find out if there is any abnormality in the developing baby and to decide on it’s cure or precautions throughout the pregnancy and also during child birth. It is one of the most important pregnancy scan which provides detailed look at how your baby is growing, position of placenta,the amniotic fluid and also helps us know how are the blood flows going to the fetus.
Dating and Viability scan
Routine antenatal care is to rule out or clinically deal with the risk factors associated with your fetus. With changing time and life challenges, high risk pregnancies are on high and routine check up or antenatal care becomes imperative in most of the pregnancies now a days. This ultrasound scan is usually carried at about 28 – 36 weeks of pregnancy and aims at determining the growth and health of the fetus.
